I would go to ANU, it is the most recognised university for it's specialisations, etc. UWS is poorly recognised, alot of things are up to standard but at the end of the day it just doesn't cut-it.

You can get in with as low as 80, if you reside in western sydney and get a band 5 or 6 in legal students so yeah 5 point reduction bonus for each.

Not really unless you have a good reason, eg faliure when you believe you shouldn't have, etc. It's best to speak to your unit co-ordinator if that fails see a UWS welfare officer about it, etc. Consider submitting a Review of Grade if you believe you shouldn't of failed a unit, etc.

Yeah, but i reccommend you contact a welfare officer to help you write a proper justification for it. You prob would have recieved an AF, absent fail mark if it was for attendance, if you recieve an F it was prob because of your assessments. Contact UWS welfare for assistance. If...

You really do need proof or justification of your appeal, if you do and it is justified your marks or grade should be reviewed. Most uni's don't give marks for the unit you failed in. Just a F or AF or W, grade.

Depends on the uni and type of scholarship, it's best to go and see a welfare officer at your own university. But yeah for alot of them you have to prove extreme financial difficulty through Centrelink payments, etc. Their are some $100-$200 book vouchers you can get at some uni's...

Travelling is a biatch but I know some lazy people who only live 20 minutes away who've decided to live on campus. Some of mates spend 5 hours of travelling getting to and from uni each day. Some people who live at Newcastle or down South actually live out of the computer labs for 2-3 days...
