    Hsc At Tafe?

They take the photo for you....They might not accept your enrolment, so I suppose you wouldn't get it until induction. Shrugs. Call up and ask. I'm waiting to learn everything first so next year will be just revision... No TAFE for me this year.

    Degree Debate: Arts or Languages?

Wow, thanks guys. I understood the terms you used, dw lol. I wouldn't go straight for my PhD. After I get my Masters, I'd take 2 years off, teach and travel, and then go back for my PhD fresh. I'm cancelling the whole TETSOL whatever thing. And I've decided to do an Arts degree instead...

    Bruce O-Week

Jumping castle? A JUMPING CASTLE? Is that a joke or did you guys actually have jumping castles? Isn't that a little... Umm... preschooler? lol.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Plans for after the HSC?

Re: Who knows what they want to be when they 'Grow Up'? Second idea better. First idea, not so great. They test on animals :( Evilo, I never knew you did environmental stuff!! :O Subjects in my sig... (plus picking up Spanish). I think I want to be a LOTE/ESL secondary school teacher. I...

    Degree Debate: Arts or Languages?

I've changed my idea about a science-based career. I'm thinking of (Secondary) education and then eventually a university lecturer (hahaha I wish!). I heard that with science degrees, you go to uni 4-5 days a week and with arts it's only 2-3 days a week lol. But that's not the reason... I just...

    Hsc At Tafe?

Thanks. I guess you're right. That made me feel heaps better lol Great start to the morning! However, I won't be going to uni until 2011. So I have plenty of time. I'm gonna give Visual Arts and Entertainment Industry all I've got. I don't want to repeat them. No way in hell lol. I'll...

    UAI Adjustments: Credit Transfers, etc...

Yep, that's what I meant. But dw about, I've already sorted everything out. The BOS don't keep you on hold for long, but we talked for an hour and to be honest, those guys don't shut up. They don't seem to get many calls. I almost hung up on them twice. Anyway, cheers. Thanks.

    Business or Legal Studies?

Source = in person. Various HSC markers (who've been marking for years) said this to huge groups of us. It's not official. But it's "rough" - seeing as they also grade other subjects and they agree B.S. is the hardest. For the second time, I did not mention anything about learning. You can...

That's for term 1... It started in Dec, ended in Feb. Meh. Just let this one die if you don't like it lol.

    Business or Legal Studies?

Do not misquote me, smart boy.

    Business or Legal Studies?

What I said came from HSC markers. I think they know what they're talking about. It's hard because there's a lot to remember. Not hard to learn, though. I clearly said there was a lot to remember. I didn't mention anything about learning.

Post your results for whatever subject here!! Business Studies (test) 28/40 70% English Standard (speech) 11.5/15 76.6% Visual Arts (case study) 15/20 75% Crappy. Real crappy.

    Business or Legal Studies?

Drop Business Studies. That's all I have to say :) edit: Okay, I should give a legit reason lol. Drop because it is the HSC subject with the most content i.e. hardest because there is a lot to remember...

    UAI Adjustments: Credit Transfers, etc...

For the billionth time, I'm not concerned about uni. I was just explaining what I meant by the equation "UAI - uni + Open High School = new UAI". Dw about it lol. Thanks anyway.

    Hsc At Tafe?

I put lots of hard work in. So much effort. And I get marks that make me want to cry and rip those papers to shreds. Even my parents complain about all the late hours I spend. I work hard on assessment tasks. But I don't study for tests and stuff. When it comes to the HSC and everything, of...

    Hsc At Tafe?

It's too late to enrol into TAFE now for the HSC. I'd rather just sit it out, learn everything.. So next year nothing will come as a surprise. You don't need mathematics to get a UAI, it is not a compulsory subject. The only compulsory subject is English for the HSC. If it is different for...

    Hsc At Tafe?

I've accepted the fact that I won't be reaching my full potential this year in my HSC. I'll do the subjects I have to (perhaps all!) repeat and cram them into 1 year if it kills me lol. I'll know all of the stuff anyway, it'd just be revision, really. And I'm not doing any extention units. I...

HSCedge Online: $300 worth of HSC resources, FREE!

Structures, yeah. That's an excuse to use the same VCE stuff for NSW students. Pffft. If it doesn't have to do anything with our prescribed texts and nothing to do with our SYLLABUS, then it's useless because I can easily access the structure of literature for free from a university source...

HSCedge Online: $300 worth of HSC resources, FREE!

We failed to notice the address in the address bar thingy... It says "/vic". I changed this to "nsw" and it worked :) Genius lol. http://tsfx.com.au/nsw/hscedgeonline/onlineresources.htm They've got some stuff up there, not just biology (that's only the notes section or whatever). But I...
