    How was your school day?

We don't have roll call at all. We have home group (for 10min on Tuesdays, after period 1 then we have recess). They give us the newsletter, etc. And we have assembly once a week (day depends on the term... e.g. term 1: monday, term 2: tuesday, term 3&4: thursday).

HSCedge Online: $300 worth of HSC resources, FREE!

You're not buying into anything. It's free. And it only takes 5 mins, even less. Not much of a fuss. They said they would be in office on the 21st (OF DECEMBER). They won't even bother to change the messages on the answering machines. If you call unis during the holidays, they answer. TAFE...

HSCedge Online: $300 worth of HSC resources, FREE!

lol Ignore them. The funny thing is that they're do their HSC as well and don't seem to give a flying @#KH% about it. TSFX deliver. I believe in them. They're much better than TAFE. Those bums have been on holidays since December and nobody's picked up the phone. Friggin' answering machines...

The official BOS 'Pro-Constitutional Monarchy' thread

    1. Then what's with the freak who started this thread, praising Britain and all that crap? Time to cut the umbilical cord. Besides, I'd like to blame the British for everything that is screwed today :) 2. I meant that your AIDS status changes. You might not have it today, you might get it...

    UAI Adjustments: Credit Transfers, etc...

Okay, so, for example, at uni, if you don't get into the course you want and you do another one, they give you credit for it and they fix up your UAI so you can get into that course. With TAFE, they have something similar. If you want to do the HSC and you've previously completed a TAFE course...

    How was your school day?

We've got air con xD Probably one of the best back-to-school-as-year-12 days ever. Pretty darn fun. And I didn't start until 9:30am (2 periods Italian Continuers) then left at 12:20pm :)

The official BOS 'Pro-Constitutional Monarchy' thread

    1. You did not provide the answers I was searching for, nor did anybody else. When I pointed out it wasn't what I wanted, you made it sound like you'd done me a huge favor and I'd blown it back in your face. 2. I'm sorry, weren't Aussies then still "British"? Mother country and all? Blah blah...

    first day of school

We don't have a week a/week b system. We use the "UVIS" system, or whatever it's called. So our timetable is exactly the same for the entire semester, every week. It's so easy to remember lol :) My brother is in year 7!! lol. Omg. He's so cute. He looks like a "guy".. I mean, it's just cute...

    Year 12 Jerseys

Not too thick. More like; 1. I asked veloc1ty, not you 2. You offered and then took it back 3. I have better things to do, like dance :) 4. Could've been summarized into a paragraph (which is what I was searching for) Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, Katie. Appreciate it heaps. Next...

    Private/Public Schools

    1. FYI, I don't use any messengers. And I wake up at 6 almost everyday to run. 2. Training? WHEN? We have swim school, but swimming is not part of the curriculum and if you have a pool and 4 ovals, I'd like to see all of them put to use. We don't stink.. If you don't change, you don't do...

    Private/Public Schools

Not every school has "all of the above". But I go to a public school which definitely can't have all of the above (and I am sure every student would detest more uniforms, changing into our PE uniform is avoided at all costs). If we had to choose, everybody would vote for the "building". Some...

    Private/Public Schools

What? I'm saying people are like "Ohh.. private school! So cool! It's got a pool, and all these uniforms that will be such a nuisance to don on and off during the day and so many ovals because you can never have enough grass." What is the use of a pool if your lunch break is 25min? No, not...

They said they will send passwords out later this week. :)

    Private/Public Schools

Excuse my stupidity for saying that a centre with multiple uses replaces a pool, a second oval, or more uniforms. The other choices are hardly appealing. Spend as much money on your kids as you want. If they end up as drop-outs or check out chicks, now that is a waste of money.

    Private/Public Schools

My schools offers a performing arts centre (with music rooms, a pro dance room w/ air con and a drama stage) instead of a pool, more uniforms, and 4 or however many ovals. With public schools, the fees aren't compulsory. The only compulsory payments are subject fees. We're very lucky that we...

    Year 12 Jerseys

:O Shirts AND jerseys?!?! We select sizes etc pretty early, considering we don't get the stuff for at least 6 months. What if your size changed by then lol? They don't offer refunds, hey? Haha.

The official BOS 'Pro-Constitutional Monarchy' thread

I cbf, duh.. I meant "inform me" as in tell me, not give me a whole crap of stuff to read. Pwef. Pretty much agree with Zimmer. It was horrible, let's move on. And like whoever it was said, we're not exactly a part of Britain anymore. Heck, we verse them in sports, etc. Don't see why we should...

I know nomads... I know they don't consider that they own the land. But it's hard to explain what I mean. Argh. Hmmmm... If they don't own it, why are we paying other people who say they own it instead of improving their communities? I seriously can't explain this. It's too hard and I can't...
