It's all about making money. I had a background of General Maths in school and attended the bridging courses @ UTS. Honestly, it wasn't that effective. 1. The pace was too quick. 2. They only used one example for every kind of topic before we moved onto the next.

I don't know about the fees then, but you def. have to pay that SA fee, which is a fee that contributes to the services at the uni. You can also HECS that fee if you would like.

Probably, cause I don't get how they make their decisions when accepting students with a much lower cutoff. I know quite a few who had a gap of 20 points and yet still made it in. Thus, give it a try!

Isn't the prep program @ UNSW even more expensive? From what I've heard, it's 30k?

By the way, put UWS as your first preference during the Early Round offers if you don't have a chance of making it into the other unis. I believe they accept most courses @ UWS if you place it as your first during the early rounds.

Commerce - UNSW Law - USYD I would be in a dilemma with both combined, but I'll go towards USYD for this one.

You will receive the email starting tomorrow till the following days. I've received mine the day after the ATAR was out. It doesn't state how many points you receive, only your eligibility of the EAS points.

They won't exclude you if you hadn't studied an assumed knowledge subject at school. They will only consider your ATAR + flexible entry scheme.

From what I heard is 10 points

School ranked went down from 112 to 142 :/ There were a few Band 6's for Standard English though + a state rank!

I went to a low-economic school in SWS and I know a person who had 89 and made it into B.Commerce. I don't know personally what he applied for in EAS, but he certainly got a Band 6 in 2U and Business Studies.

Correct, just incase you decide to change your preferences after the ATAR is out, so they might as well release all outcomes for all of the unis.

I know a close friend who had an ATAR of 72, had a form of ADHD, Epilepsy and applied for two other disadvantage (Youth Allowance, Low-Economic School) and was admitted into UTS B.Business/B.Medical Sciences which required an ATAR of 93. That was a surprise to me because I thought that EAS @ UTS...
