Exactly. It'll be even rarer if you approach your next 2 years with that attitude.. Anything can happen in the next 2 years.

I wouldn't say that.. If you ask any of the year 12's or guys at university, its not impossible.. I was talking to a family friend who teaches at Birrong Girls (which is similarly ranked), and there have been people who have put in a lot effort and got UAI's 90 +.

Well.. what's your UAI aim?.. If you want a good UAI, you're going have to rank pretty much 1st at your school, and then own the actual HSC.. I'm guessing its rare for people in your school to get 90 + each year.

Well, you were ranked better then 211 other schools. But to be honest, if you're aiming for a high UAI, I'd say you'd need to put in a lot of work.

From the top of my head, we got tested on the Jury, different types of laws/courts (e.g. what court deals with what, difference between common law and statute law, civil and public law), legal aid, factors affecting a person's access to legal help, difference between plaintiff/defendant

Have you been told the strucutre of the exam? for e.g. Is multiple choice, short answer, stimulus and extended response?

I could be wrong, but I remember that the acc. class is graded, like they've already sat tests for it and the class has already been determined (that's what my friend said and he missed out on the acc. class by 1 rank)

For PE, would it it be the content covered at school? I think it'd be hard to find advice what your PE exam would cover as different schools cover different topics at different times? English, go over your text types (as in how to write certain text types), language techniques.

But because each unit is counted as 50 marks, then a 2 unit course is made up of 100 marks, and a Ext. unit course of 50 marks.. So if you got 48/50 for the ext course, and 88/100 for the 2 unit (made up of 44 + 44), then it'd be 44 + 48 (as the ext. course is done better). A total of 92 out...

I agree. Even though you may go to a "good" coaching centre, its pointless unless you put the hard yards and effort to get the UAI you deserve. Along with your money, it is just more advertising for them, particularly if you get a high UAI.

I'm not failing drastically, but the teachers at my school are hopeless. I've got 1 good teacher, and for the rest of the subjects I just self-teach. I find that a tutor can help me find and fix holes in my english skills, say de-constructing a piece of text.. giving guidance.
