Space for electives. Most degrees leave room for you do extra units. Most perhaps do another major (if there is enough CP left to fit it in) or just take random units that interest them.

I'd imagine they'd waive the elec2141 prerequisites then for people enrolled in that degree.

Re: 2012 USYD Chatter Thread yes, that's fine. Another tip for first years: Make sure you make friends in first semester. Ideally a group of friends. You'll find uni life so so much better. Don't miss the boat. Talk to people in class. Join some clubs and societies.

Call BOS ASAP, explain the problem and have them resolve it. It's happened to some others here and they've had it solved by calling BOS. If it is, you'll be issued a new ATAR.
