ran out of time not easy, time consuming

not at all easy, all the other people in my class thought it was hard.

I think what made it "hard" was the fact that everyone ran out of time, even if the questions could have been done. The first five questions were probably more difficult that usual, but 7 would have been easy had I had the time to do it. 5d (induction) and question 6 were definitely time...

I dunno, I didn't find it all that "hard", but it was very time consuming to make sure you didn't write the wrong thing. And for 3 marks, it should have been worth more, it took me about a page and a half!:bomb:

I did/attempted everything up to and including 6a. I got the induction and all of the projectiles, but I will admit, they wasted my time. I wrote a couple of lines for 6b and 7, but I was so annoyed cause they were kinda easy BUT I HAD NO TIME!:burn: I probably attempted about 75 marks...

I definitely thought that overall, this 3U paper was harder than what I expected in comparison to past papers. I ran out of time!! Question 7 was really easy tho, I wasted my time doing those tougher ones in the previous questions and so I didn't get time to really even attempt question 7...

I took mine in, its a Mathaid 4. Its the one without stuff written all over it as I believe there are 2 versions. Probably about 5 other people also took their's in. So all those people should have been allowed. :eek: It doesn't give a huge advantage, as you should know the stuff on there...

i reckon i attempted about 80/120. So looks like i skipped about 40 marks, not sure tho, possibly more...

I thought that overall, the paper was good. Section One - I didn't like the question about "significance of landscape" or the one about the poem, "how does the final stanza...". It was ok though, I thought we would get more than three texts, so I guess that meant less time reading, more time...

I ended up buying the Casio fx-82AU. i love the natural display. for those who dont know what that is, it means that fractions are displayed like you would write them and not with the back the front "L". it allows easy conversions too and well, i must say i like it...lol

I was actually thinking of buying the Casio fxAU. it looks good and is reasonably priced. saves time too which is always an advantage and is board approved!!:)
