    Exams or assignments

Exams. I study for them like crazy because I don't know what might be in it. (well, I technically do, but I don't know the question) As for assignments, I get them, look at the question, say, 'meh', put it away and don't take it out until 2 days before the due date. Bad, bad habit.

    Novels!!!

Isn't it easier to comprehend if you read it quietly/aloud to yourself? I find it easier to initially read the text, then have educated class discussions.

    The Catcher in the Rye

Try the State Library of NSW. You can't borrow anything, but they have a very comprehensive collection, and you can ask the librarian for help as to where to find certain books and request certain titles to be found for you within 20 minutes. Other good libraries are the City of Sydney and...

    Getting into the Ebay business.

iPods are the most searched for item on eBay, so try finding an iPod wholesaler. (who would expect you to have an ABN, and will not sell you discounted iPods unless you buy several hundred units) Not a good idea, IMO. Unless you have the money to invest.

Bored of Studies blocked through NSW DET proxy?

Oh, I was not aware of that. My teachers don't seem to know about BoS though. So everything is blocked by default? Explains why you cannot access 90% the internet. :mad1:

    Gap year talk.

Re: Gap year [Rollcall] I would love to take a gap year off and go traveling the world in a beat-up, hippie caravan painted with funkadelic flowers accompanied by my friends. Unfortunately, my family would chase me down with a chainsaw even I even dared propose such outrageous an idea. And I...

Who was your first celebrity crush?

My childhood crush was Cookie Monster from Sesame Street and Madeline from Madeline (Oh please, I was like 5 years old, and wanted to be her best friend). I also wanted to be friends with the cast of Arthur. My first actual celebrity crush(es) would be Hayden Panettiere and Johnny Depp, and...

Mostly agreed with. Just make sure you know your content. And play the game. ;) If you were aiming for a 99.9+ UAI, that would be a different story.

what subject do i need 2 choose?

Sport is compulsory at my school for Year 11, unless you're doing an offline subject. We did that for recreational sports like Snooker and Bowling. Basically we paid $9 for the bus and entry to the venue, and then we'd spend another $10 on hot food and sweets and sit there, watching people...

how many hrs have u studied

For the SC, I studied about 2 - 3 hours on weekdays, and more on the weekends. At the moment, I try to study at least 4 hours a day, English and Mathematics usually being my top priority subjects. PS. I agree with the notion of not studying too much for the SC. However, if you are bad at a...
