They're a bit longer and a bit wider. There are sheets that fit king single beds around, although you might have a harder time finding them, especially quilt covers.
Dude, uni is one of the times of your life you can get away with not being particularly productive. Don't waste that oppurtunity. That said, you can get as much as you want done. There's plenty of computer labs and study rooms if the residential halls are a bit noisy.
