A piece of plastic with your name on it which lets you join clubs and societies at USyd. It also gives you discounts to most stores on campus and free SMH newspaper for the year.

I think it's possible if you're changing to something within the same stream (Steam A and Stream B). Just ask for a variation form.

I accepted Com/Law at UNSW then I discontinued after I got my second offer. Just call the university up and ask them how to discontinue from your course.

Not sure if that's a bad thing.
I get my card checked by transit officers when they see my student train tickets or when I buy them. -__-
I like watching people in front of me playing games or browsing Facebook on their laptops. Although it can get quite distracting. I found some of the first year lectures to be quite noisy. :\

I turned 18 at the end of semester one last year but I still was able to get drinks at Herman's and the Manning. Apparently they never check your card!
Also went on a few cruises without any problems. They just assume everyone is over 18 since you're uni students.

Had to line up with girlfriend at Law/Arts enrolment yesterday at Maclaurin Hall. They only had like 10 computers for the hundreds of students enrolling. There were basically lines inside the lines...
