oh wow. I didn't think this was such a widespread issue. In any case, my PDHPE class only finished 2 cores and 1 option. You're supposed to have done 2 cores and 2 options.
I used to use StayFocusd on Chrome and that just weaned me off facebook. It was good because on my computer, both FireFox and IE failed to meet the speed of Chrome.
I've looked at checkpoints and didn't particularly like them, so I'm a bit surprised to find that people here think they're useful.
For PD, I found that Dot Point is AMAZING. It's not a textbook, but the answers at the back are concise imo.
oh wow. You guys all seem so studious!
I'm going on camping in the first week, and plan on just reading and going out with friends in the second week ...
That's actually really good. Like for maths, I write down all the questions I need to do, and cross them off one at a time. This sounds incredibly stupid, but it makes me happy when I can cross one off every 5 minutes. LOL. =(
Say you have these marks:
Test 1: 30/48
Test 2: 45/47
Test 3: 90/108
And say these are the weightings:
Test 1: 20%
Test 2: 30%
Test 3: 50%
Then to calculate your final mark:
30/48 x 0.2 + 45/47 x 0.3 + 90/108 x 0.5
Physics 1 textbook has all the pracs aim, method, results set out. You can download a simple electric circuit simulation off a quick Google search and do the experiment.
if this is the experiment I think I did a few days ago, then uhm. The heat can escape the water surface, and its therefore advisable to have a lid to prevent that heat escaping.
LaTeX? It was a bit complicated at first, but an hour later, it's pretty simple.
I've tried using iBooks Author and my notes have turned out alright, but of course, that's only applicable if you have a Mac and an iPad.
