People wouldn't be sacked for merely 'liking' this page. Some of the comments posted there are clearly WAY beyond the code of conduct. These people are fools for posting such 'extreme' comments, and shouldn't be surprised as to what happens.
The green check shirts from the Wolli Creek uniforms look fine, IMO. However the white chef jackets for those in the seafood and deli seem a little ostentatious. I'm not sure what it'll mean for myself as a nightfill manager. The green and grey nightfill shirts were OK, the newer ones aren't...
Thanks guys/gals. :) I ordered one of the new shirts, I can claim it back on tax anyway. If they're comfortable I'll order some more, if not I'll pray that my three grey and green ones don't wear out or get holes! Comfortable shirts are important if you're running around like a headless chicken...
Does anyone here own any of the new Nightfill shirts? How do they compare to the older grey and green ones? Not sure a shirt made of polyester mesh material would be really comfortable. The grey and green ones, at least to me, are comfortable enough.

Very sick of the 'fancy feast' ad they they seem to play ten times an hour. :newburn: What is even worse is their insistence on playing these sorts of ads after the store closes. To make working back till 2AM a bit more fun one of us will bring in a sound system to drown out the Woolies stuff...
I'd certainly ring the union over this, failing that you can ring Woolworths HR or even Fairwork Australia. It's absolutely unacceptable. If they want to reduce your hours and are a PT employee then be sure to read the relevant section of the EBA, as there is a rather convoluted process they...
Do you have a legitimate commitment during the timing of the new roster they want you to work? Family? Sporting? Something like that? That could be your best bet to resisting a roster change that you weren't even really asked about.
Does anyone know if it is possible to cash out annual leave? The new proposed agreement has such a clause for in excess of eight weeks annual leave, but there's nothing about it in the 2009 agreement. I've got seven weeks of leave saved up and being able to cash out one week worth of leave would...
