Damn.. When did enrolment start? I thought I picked one of the earliest possible times, the 10th.
I really hope I don't get horrible times for some of the popular subjects, there are two lectures for introductory world history and I really want to have David Christian, since I'm a fan of his...
I was wondering the same thing, except im doing liberal arts. I prefer to use pen and paper and typing my notes up later for extra study and better organisation. However Im worried that I might fall behind other students who are typing away on laptops.
Thanks for that. That's what I presumed.
I'm definitely going to take advanced coptic studies and Middle Egyptian texts from the 300 level on my third year. I'd love to become proficient in both languages.
haha. Thankyou Atlas. :)
And May-Cat, would it better to do Hieroglyphics A & B in semester 1 and 2, or should I do Hieroglyphics A & Coptic I in my first year, and Hieroglyphics B & Coptic II in my second year?
Thanks for the replies:
@Atlas: Haha, yea. I definitely like to be organised. And I'm also pretty excited to begin studying ancient history.
@May-Cat: Thanks for the response. I will probably remove the Coptic units and possibly one philosophy unit. But I might have to add another elective...

I've been told that we have to just tell them on enrolment day, but i'm no authority, so I wouldn't trust myself.
But, I'd like to add to your question: What are we supposed to bring on the enrolment day? A list of the subjects that we want to take and at the specific tutorial and lecture...
I'm actually looking forward to Antiquities' Heirs. Besides Egyptology, the rise of Christianity and Islam and the transition to our modern world, is something I'm pretty interested in. Also I hear it looks at Persia for a bit.
Ok now it's starting to make sense.
I guess i'm in no rush to create a timetable since enrolment isn't until the 10th. I'm going to get some sleep and try to sort this out tomorrow.
Thankyou.
