If you've got guarenteed entry and you've preferenced the course like they say you should then you are 100% guarenteed to get an offer.

Ah ok that does make sense. May have to just take the one commerce subject in the second half of the year (I'm fine with that). On a side note, are there any courses I should be looking at taking in certain semesters? A mate of mine who started last year said he's only taking engg1000 first...

A better way to think about bonus points is they don't raise your selection rank per se but lower the selection rank of the course you're applying for (as not all courses take bonus points esp. ones with a 99.95 entrance requirement) What course out of interest?

You can work as a civil engineer or a software engineer (obvs) But I guess you could go into modelling buildings via software etc. TBH though despite not being directly connected I'm sure many of the STEM foundations (problem solving, numerical literacy etc.) are easily transferable.

If you like Geo, do it. A lot of learning stuff but the topics tend to be favoured by people (as opposed to year 11). IMO both years were decent.

Can't seem to recreate it cause any timetables with ENGG1000 don't generate. There may have been a mistake in the data before - even when I try 3 subjects I can't get the tightness I had. IIRC it was Higher Phys 1A, Maths 1A, Engg1000 and something else (Can't remember)
