I've done both micro and macro 1 at UNSW. I did eco for the hsc and whilst I did have a small advantage for macro, it goes into way more depth. You're teacher is an idiot for saying that. The textbook just had hsc stuff? Did you consider that not all uni's use the same textbook?

I definitely have more assessments this year, but I thought it was because im a second year now. I basically have 2-3 each week and its annoying the hell out of me.

I really am hoping to pass this subject. I can't understand what my tutor is saying and for some reason she assumes all the questions are easy and that we don't really need to go through them in class...to bad no answers are on webct.

What about the people who get just below the cut off? Did you ever think of that? International students who can hardly speak a word of English have an advantage because their parents will pay for them to come here.

Sucks if you have a morning exam and then a night exam. I can never get much done right before the exam. I guess you could walk back to uni and go to the library.

You do realise that you UAI is considered when you try to transfer? If you do a bridging course you should be fine. As williamc said, you can't just memorise the formulas because you need to understand the underlying concepts.

I found the lecture notes to be fine because the final was multiple choice. Same with fins1613. Now that im doing FINS2624 and 3616 im thinking I will have to do notes...:mad: I did notes for macro, micro and accounting though.
