i think i remember reading we get it 3 weeks before the exam, and if we havent got it by two weeks before then we should contact them

nah they're not rules, and i find it hard to believe that someone could consciously decide to give you a lower mark even if you did say anything like that but this is just what we were advised 'just in case' i guess
