Since I'm usually in the Unibar at odd times, I still get the same dude who served me giving me my dodgy chips, but yeah, it's terrible, getting more impersonal by the year.

Most of my subjects don't put lecture notes up because they want you to actually come to the lectures. I used folders back in high school but these days I use books. And I definitely do use my lecture notes for studying. Depends on your subjects and yourself.

The other thing is, most (I know there are exceptions, always) universities won't let you get that incredibly specific in undergrad. What you're probably best off doing is the closest to your interest you can find (for example European History), enjoy the broad range of subjects you can choose...

I highly doubt it, because even if it only had 5 people you'd still be doing all the regular arts subjects (ie I've done 3 of the core subjects for that degree and I'm just in a regular arts degree), with only a few specialty subjects. I'd venture that part of the deal with not many people...

Untrue, or there'd be very few people at UoW. Most of the engineering faculty looks pretty bogan, for example. And you can tell philosophy students from a mile away. Ok, I guess if you went in your boardies, shirtless and barefoot, that may make a difference.
