Quite obviously you have never been on a cruise. I have been on several cruises over the years (it helps to know the cruise director of P&O, heh...) and they anything but boring -- when you say "stuck on a boat" you are obviously forgetting about the Islands... Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, etc.

Have you tried Guitar World (Annandale, which would be local for you)? I got my Stratocaster there and they had a pretty good range of Bass guitars if I remember correctly...

Well I didn't take Gen Maths as the 'easy road out', I took it because I am not going to need high level maths for the courses at Uni I want :p And I still wanted to do a maths subject, so I chose Gen Maths for a relatively easy, solid course I know I can do well in without much work :)
