What Texts Are You Doing For Module A?

Yeh, I hated "Brave New World" too, I read most of it last year, and it was so painful. Good book, but not my cup of tea.

    Favourite Movies.

"Mullholland Drive", even if it was so good, was totally...what's the word...messed up! I mean, how is someone meant to understand that movie, I barely could, and I had to watch it a million times to get it.

    Australian Idol 2004

I have to say, Casey appealed to me from the start the most, and I hope that after the first album is released, she begins writing her own stuff, and singing more stuff like "The Special Ones" (I love george sooooo much) and "Hello" (Amy Lee's voice is incredible, and her song writing skills are...

Our class is doing Hamlet/Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead. Is anybody else doing these two texts for Module A? What is everyone else doing? What's your critical response about?

I've obviously chosen a popular topic. I'm also doing the works of Quentin Tarantino for my Critical Response. I think it will just be a critique, but I am also leaning towards discussing feminism within Quentin Tarantino's movies...can't wait to see how it turns out.

What casestudy r ppl doing in class?

I'm doing Elizabeth I for my case study. We didn't get a choice, we have one girl from Ancient History and me in the class, I do Modern History, and the teacher thought it would be a good idea to pick the topic that bridges the gap between the two classes. Plus, it was in her Area of Interest...

    4U English + Ext History?

I am starting year 12 now, and I am doing 4U English as well as History Extension...History Extension looks like it's going to be a lot of work...but I'm willing to do it, so I suppose I should do well at it, our school seems to have a good reputation at it judging by prior marks.
