Yeh, same here. And having a major project for History Extension as well, and with a draft also due in the first weeks of term 2, I needed to do one or the other. I figured it might as well be the one I like...lol.

    Your favourite book!

'Alice's Adventures In Wonderland' and 'Through The Looking Glass (And What Alice Found There' by Lewis Carroll. By far, my favourite books of all time. I have read them over, and over again, and even at age 17 am still not sick of it. I used it for an english assignment last year actually. That...

    history extension half yearly

OUr school has two hours for the half yearly, we've got two questions, one is purely a practice, the other is the only one that has real impact on our assessment mark, that being the one on the "What Is History" topic, rather than our case study on Elizabeth, which is the question which...

    has anyone started writing?

I was the boy in the white and green jacket. I was at the front of the room, about four rows back. I asked if there were any taboo topics in the last lecture, because I often wonder how many people do Tarantino, haha. Who were you cameron?

    Cloudstreet 2005?

I'm doing Cloudstreet too. I went to a study day last week, and the guy totally stuffed up the lecture! I thought he was actually going to go into different readings of the text, but he didn't *cries* Everything he said was obvious, and I am now so frustrated. I love the book, and I'm so...

    Our Little Showcase :)

Yeh nor do I. I mean, I'd read some of the essays he showed us, I was already aware what he was pointing out. It would've been nice if he wasn't just comparing major works, and actually showing us what we should be doing, rather than producing...I was so bored lol

2005 History Extension Major Project Topics

This question is directed at those who did history extension in 2004 or before. At what point in your major work were you up to now? I have got some names and a bit of information on my relevant historians, but I'm afraid I'm too far behind...

Critical Responders for the 2005 HSC

I'm doing Extension 2 in 2005. I already wrote what I'm doing in the other thread, a critical response on the works of Quentin Tarantino...I'm so afraid that the topic is overdone judging by the amount of people who have said they're doing or thinking about doing it. But I guess I can't let...

    best female r&b singer?

Definitely Alicia Keys gets my vote. I saw her live in October...great performance. I love Mary J. too though, and Beyonce, but her songwriting and musical skills make her run away from the rest of the pack. And her beautiful voice...
