What I think is best to do is keep it and just try your best with it since you have 12 units, even if you perform poorly in maths, it won't count anyway. However, there is still time to improve for this subject and maths just requires completing more questions which isn't too hard to do. Maths...

I know what she meant by family friends but it doesn't necessarily mean you can't be real friends with a family friend. Besides, looking at the content and title of this thread, there is no reference that this friend is a family friend. I'm not saying it's not possible but you can be friends...
