I have a textbook by Cantwell which is amazing. He is a marker, as well, so i reccommend this textbook. I can photocopy pages (is that illegal?) if needed...obviously only in small amounts, or i can give you a study guide i have done up to '45.

I do enjoy history a great deal...mainly Modern History, however. History, again Modern, is very easy for me, as any topic i learn easily stays with me as i actually ENJOY learning it, and thus can remember it. Ancient, sadly, isn't the same...i have to try much harder to be able to recall...

I believe historiography is an important part of Modern History, and every History for that matter. I study Ancient, Modern and Extension, and in every case reliable quotes are needed to support views stated. However, with that said, no matter how many quotes you have, no matter who said them...
