well we just had our first legal assessment (hand in + multiple choice test), end of this week our related material portfolio's are due for english, then pretty much everything else is all concerntrated in week 8. :(

yeah, definitely. i just got a job a few months ago and i've found it actually helps me manage my time a lot better. now i'm forced to do things instead of just sitting around on my arse all day. whenever i have days off, i usually get nothing done. lol.

yep, i pretty much enjoy all my subjects. i would have never ever considered in a million years to take a subject like physics or 3u maths just because they scale well. i would hate them and would suck at them so badly.

i would say Eng Ext 1. even though i dropped it, that course is more what i'd call "real" English.

at my school from yr10 to yr11, i've noticed the usual people who top everything sort of disappearing a bit... quite a few more people are emerging as the better students. your main problem with maintaining your ranks i'm guessing would be not getting lazy - thinking that just because you did...

omg that's so terrible for teachers to ENCOURAGE heavy competition... my english teacher was just saying the other day that we all need to try and share our ideas and just not keep things to ourselves. she thinks it's quite unfortunate there's so much emphasis on competition in the HSC.

i do 11 units and have about 11 free periods, but some of them are in the morning/afternoon so i just arrive late/leave early a lot of the time. most of the time i try to use them to my advantage, finish homework or read my novels, etc. although of course, inevitably, i do get sidetracked on...

some people get pretty competitive, but i think people keep their competitiveness to themselves. i personally don't have a problem with sharing notes that we've done as a class, but when it comes to my own personal notes i get stingy
