Who will be looking for love at Uni?

It's not that bad I don't think. I became good friends with a girl I met at uni. But the chance of that happening was really slim.

    PHYS1121 or PHYS1131?

The funny thing is that I remember JW saying in the very first lecture that he makes sure to catch out all the 'formula monkeys' in the final exam :P

    PHYS1121 or PHYS1131?

Pretty much what was in the final exam for JW's section was covered in his lectures in one way or another. Yes he didn't directly say that it would be in the exam but for instance that rotation/string question. He went through it on the very last lecture with an actual pract/demo.

Help needed with Domian and Range of inverse sine functions

Nice explanation Trebla. But I think it's worth noting that your explanation works because the inverse sin function is increasing in its domain.

Help needed with Domian and Range of inverse sine functions

Just use common sense The domain of 1/(x^2+1) is all real x and the range is 0<y<=1 So the domain of arc sin(1/(x^2+1)) is all real x (since 1/(x^2+1) will always be between -1 and 1 from above) the range would be 0<y<= pi/2 as arcsin(0)=0 and arcsin(1)=pi/2 (substituting the endpoints of the...

Does anyone have any exam papers or solutions for any textbooks?

Fundemental qualities of a good tutor (or any employee at a reputable firm): Must have a professional work ethic and must know how to treat others with respect and maturity. You lack all of these qualities quite severely.
