our careers adviser full on 'threatened' us to go to all in yr10 saying how close the oopen days would be to our yearlys and blah blah blah n u wont go this year but i guessitz kinda good...go last year cross out those u were considering but found out to b not good n focus on the course u want...

i would say keep advance until u r really sick of it ....than drop down to standard if u really need to make a choice now ur english teacher should give u the best advice n also adv is more poetry and shakespeare whilst standard is more contemporary texts

our grade is the one that votes and the prefect body choose tha captain it appears to me to be a biased system......bribe ur grade

make it simpler...... if u do 3units of maths, ext1 maths is counted as a one unit course if u do 4 units of maths, both ext 1 and 2 are counted as a two unit course

i noe we hav 3 classes of ext 2 maths, 2 ext history classes in yr 12 .... apparently this yr 12 is crazy with extensions..... normally we hav 1 history extension and probably 2 ext 2 maths classes

yr11 doesnt count and hsc doesnt count in the long run either...nothing will count for your life except that the hsc (and prelim) is a ticket for a better(?) life

i now i would go on and on and on about not taking ext 1 english but then again i am not sure if i won't hate it so no point regretting

writing notes even if u dont look at it again is actually good bcoz writing gets the stuff into ur head ... i like remeber at least 40% by just writing

a week before assigns were due was considered the right time before but since last term when u hav 4 assigns at the same time due in the week it's no longer the story
