Might just be certain weeks that are assessable. Think my friend did a subject where certain lectures had assessable group talks. Which unit is it?

Do a diploma at TAFE, and if you are still keen to go to University you can apply using the diploma,and get recognition of prior learning.

Assuming it operates like most degrees you can try out a semester and see which appears to interest you and then declare.

Don’t sell yourself short, your grades are a fair bit better then lots of people applying plus your work experience is stellar.
