Urgent help with UAC Applications - First year transfer

A lot of people end up underloading or failing subjects so do not complete a three-year degree in the three years that are stated. Not to mention if you are looking into getting into certain graduate programmes require a distinction or higher wam for consideration, and I would suspect that you...

I'm looking at 2019 degrees, and it seems that degrees have expanded. I.e rather then doing a bachelor of arts, you have stuff like Bachelor of Archeology or Bachelor of Hellenic Studies which have majors. Which I suspect is part of the email we recieved...

    Which uni will accept me

https://courses.acu.edu.au/2019/undergraduate/bachelor_of_nursing If you don't get an offer in next couple of rounds, you could consider moving to places like Ballarat as the cut-off is closer to your ATAR. Ballarat (58.55) Brisbane (12/74) Canberra (60.00) Melbourne (80.55) North Sydney (75.00)

    Which uni will accept me

Says second round on the UAC thing but the main offer round appears to be called the second round for some reason. First round is pretty much for those over the ATAR cut-off of chosen degree.

    2018 HSC+ATAR results discussion Thread

Yes. There are still quite a few rounds of offers left. Maybe also lower down the list put ACU ballerat as it only requires an ATAR of 58.55 which is very close to your ATAR.

Higher then the median ATAR so you've done well compared to a lot of people. Are you planning to go to Uni?

You'll keep the mark that you've got in this years HSC, which has already been scaled.

Second round offers are released at 7.30am on Thursday 20 December so I suspect that you may be given an offer on/after the 20th.

Urgent help with UAC Applications - First year transfer

Questions. 1. I've seen my friends' finals/tests for commerce, they are definitely not harder for the most part. Internal transfers are easier as you are already an enrolled student within the university and the university has greater knowledge over grading/units offered or studied at their own...

    Preparation for Year 11

Ask your school what texts you've been assigned next year. Have you received a book list? Not that important, I'd focus on relaxing at the moment.

I also suspect it is not worth going to the lecture for BUSL251 and just reading the textbook. Do the homework/participate in tutorials its worth 20% and most people don't really bother. The media reflection looks weird that you'll have to do.

Notre Dame OR WSU to UTS

I'd probably go with the one that is a bachelor (the Notre Dame) one. Have a look at both the UTS and Notre Dame subject suggestions for the first year or two and do the subjects that sound similar as you may be able to get recognition. Focus on getting a mid credit (or distinction + ) average...
