It's possible, and if your entire cohort works extremely hard then that will increase the likelihood.

I suppose technically it is possible, given that the externals HSC exams are worth 50% of your ATAR and if your cohort performs extremely well your internal assessment mark will also be bumped up. Shoot for the moon and study hard!

Three unit would be helpful if you want to do a science degree. What does your teacher think? I'd try to identify exactly why you aren't succeding in 3 unit, given your strong mathematics mark.
