Does anyone still go to video game arcades (eg Timezone)?

There are so many manufacturers of the plastic fold up mats nowadays. I am always amazed when I see people play pretty difficult songs at home using them on Youtube and they don't seem to slip/fall or anything! Also I found it hurt my feet a lot because unlike the machine, when you step you are...

Buying Tablets from US or UK

Assuming you can get over the power issue (most modern devices accept 110v-240v anyway so all you'll need is a plug in this case- but best to check!) then it should be fine. Only issues arise is when using some kind of mobile data (i.e. 3g) then you need to double check it will be compatible...

Does anyone still go to video game arcades (eg Timezone)?

Haha I've looked into the metal ones at home- very tempting to buy a set for my PS2 and turn it into a DDR practice area but then part of the fun is doing it in the arcade with a crowd (I'm so shallow).

Does anyone still go to video game arcades (eg Timezone)?

Arcade is very different in terms of feel and the quality of the pads (well back when they were well maintained). I used to go for all the promo days like Powerclub days at Timezone and use the after school deals. Back in the day I could do 3 hours of DDR with 2 friends (we'd rotate on and off)...

Practice makes perfect. In my prime I could A 10 footers but now after years of neglect, I'm back down to doing 8 and 9 footers, and happy to get a B. That being said the Hornsby machine has the up arrows mucked up on P1, and P2 is very off centre.

Is anybody doing a double-major in accounting and business law?

It's not a bad one and a good alternative to Acct/Fin. My sister did this and I contemplated it seeing that I ended up doing quite well in Biz Law subjects (all my HDs were Biz Law) but in the end chose to pursue finance since I worked in financial services.

Cute :) I think Galaxy is bigger and has more stuff if you're looking at George St; but I personally prefer Timezone. It's less "gangstery".

I should add that all the other reasons mentioned here are true too but I just enjoy emphasising this point. Who knows maybe you too could be famous. Not many traders are household names. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lawyer Salaries - Help me

Depends on how you measure remuneration for comparison purposes. Depends on whether you are looking at it from a gross per annum basis and net of tax and HECS repayments, or for every hour you're physically working, or for every hour you're thinking about work/on-call/etc. The reality is your...

    Lawyer Salaries - Help me

Also worth mentioning; a) Those are the top-tier law firms (i.e. the ones which most people aspire to) b) The number of applicants to positions is definitely not in your favour c) The quality of the other people all around Australia and internationally applying for those positions is also...

    mountain lion

I really like the RMBP but can't bring myself to justify buying it given my very modest computing needs (namely BoS, Facebook, Gmail/Gtalk and watching movies/anime) and my pretty much perfect for my needs 11" MBA. I used it in the Apple Store and it was a tad laggy in comparison to the usual...
