    Polynomials Help! (AGAIN)

    I reckon this would be faster: P(x)=x^3-(\alpha+\beta+\gamma)x^2+(\alpha \beta + \alpha \gamma + \beta \gamma)x - \alpha \beta \gamma \alpha =2 \beta = 3 \gamma = 5

    Studying Before and After Sleep?

From what I have been reading, it is seen that you shouldn't be studying right after you wake up due to sleep inertia. Just because your neuron pathways are reinforced doesn't mean their productivity is increasing.

    Help please.

================================== |---------- x --------- ||-------(7-x)------| A piece of wire is shown above cut into 2 pieces of lengths x and 7-x, since the wire is 7 metres long. Now lets take x to be the wire cut into a square. In such a square the perimeter must be x, hence since all...

    Studying Before and After Sleep?

no http://lsatblog.blogspot.com.au/2011/08/lsat-studying-starting-wake-up.html http://www.good.is/posts/if-you-sleep-after-you-study-you-ll-remember-more And really, its common sense that you are less efficient right after you wake up.

    Dropping a sub

The way I would look at it, is to always be conservative with your actions if you aren't sure. In this case its just best to keep it until you see fit not to do the subject any more. Oh and make sure you do try out 4U maths whatever your sister says lol Well if you have a habit of reading...

    Dropping a sub

Yeah I reckon you should keep Extension 1 English AT LEAST until year 12 and make another decision there. Trust me, there is no real need to rush for year 11, this year should be one where you try things out. You should definitely try to do 4U Maths (which you should) And even if you don't...

    Studying Before and After Sleep?

There is no point in studying right after you wake up. When you sleep, your mind undergoes a process of consolidation for the day's events, it turns out that it can consolidate with much more clarity the events that are more recent, i.e. events later in the day/night. Hence it is the most...

    Dropping a sub

It is a bludgy subject to be honest. Fawun what are your other subjects? Remember that you do need some high scaling ones. (yes I know you need to pick subjects blah blah blah) But really it can't hurt to pick a subject for the scaling, Ex1 is just a little more work on top of advanced anyway...

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive From what I have seen its harder for me personally to make questions for Chemistry since the numbers need to work in real life (I don't want to associate random numbers to the chemicals) So at the moment I am just getting these questions from somewhere. But...

Re: HSC 2013 4U Marathon This is true (as had been demonstrated previous pages back) but I'm pretty sure the parametric equations of a hyperbola are out of syllabus (hyperbolic sine and cosine). EDIT: I did it and it is still applicable to use complex numbers by simply using x+iy (disregard...

    The Difficulty of Internal Exams

Theoretically what would be the best difficulty model of exams in order to produce the best results for a school? A lot of schools have really easy exams (JRAHS, about 90% of the top 20 schools) while some produce harder papers (Moriah, Grammar). There are 2 theories from what I have...
