    GT 86 Price

I also wonder if Toyota's 2.8% p/a financing deal will apply to this because if so, that's an even bigger bargain. If I had space for a second car this would be a strong contender.

    GT 86 Price

yeah i saw that just now http://news.drive.com.au/drive/motor-news/driven-toyotas-30000-coupe-20120604-1zqv3.html that's amazing. some people pointed out that for the specs it's not THAT great value but given it's a back to basics light sportscar which is really up against the likes of say an...

    Commerce Double Major & Electives?

For what it's worth if you are doing an accounting major, just make sure you meet all the subject requirements of the respective industry body/association which you intend to pursue subsequent to finishing uni (e.g. CA vs. CPA requirements).

    Commerce Double Major & Electives?

Wow times have changed. When I did ICG it only counted towards one or the other.

Does anyone still go to video game arcades (eg Timezone)?

LOL I went for Timezone Powerclub day today and played DDR for a very long time. I'm feeling a bit fitter now!

    acct3708 past exam papers

Nope I remember not getting access to these back in the day. The audit exam was very ambiguous and relied on you making a lot of assumptions in the scenarios. That being said I didn't do very well and got 75 overall for this subject (kindof embarassing).

    interest rates

I think enoilgam's response is sufficient for a high level explanation on how the RBA executes monetary policy and either purchases/sells securities to increase or decrease the supply (or availability) of cash. That being said, as evidenced by big banks no longer following the RBA cycle in...

how do u get retained profits??

Your teacher is right and this will work (for business studies purposes at least) but keep in mind that retained profits is driven by your profit & loss/income statement for the period and as part of the accounting cycle, when you close out a period for a year, you transfer the profit to the...

    What have you eaten today?

I highly rate all their sushi whether it be on the train, ordered fresh, and best of all, the handrolls. Even got me into liking salmon!

    What have you eaten today?

Looks a bit like sushi hotaru but then all sushi trains look the same. That being said, hotaru is my favourite of all time. As for me today, had a banana from home and then banana bread at Pablo and Rusty's Cafe in Epping.

Does anyone still go to video game arcades (eg Timezone)?

I think I stashed my original R34 GTR from WMMT1 somewhere... but yeah I came across my 3DX+ cards the other day so thought I may as well.

Diesel cars - yay or nay?

I dyno'd my car today... after 17 runs just to make sure it was getting a consistent result. 147kW at the wheel. Not bad given that the brochure advertises 150kW (i.e. not at the wheel). Better yet, the torque figure was 600Nm (way above the 500Nm in the brochure). Here's a clean dyno readout...

    New Honda Civic (9th gen / MY2012)

Finally saw MY12 on the road today and it doesn't look too bad. Does look a bit more modern from the rear than the outgoing model.

Does anyone still go to video game arcades (eg Timezone)?

I went to Timezone in Hornsby tonight. Played a couple of games of DDR (man I'm unfit now, I failed on Witch Doctor heavy single) as well as the good ol' Maximum Tune (3DX+ now).
