Hey Spiral do you know of any good hard 3U trial papers? (Like a specific year and brand or something?)

The last question was very easy anyway, you didnt need to be a spectacular student to get it, they pretty much walked you through the whole process of the proof

Halp, Spiral is it possible to get 100 for CSSA 2U?

The exam is tomorrow, and Im pumped and ready for it, I jujst want to get 100. That is all.

Also its worth noting that if you take the reciprocal of both sides the sign switches as well.

The best way to do a math exam, is actually knowing what you are doing rather than blindly following standard process, being able to find a clever substitution or algebra technique is a skill that is highly needed for math.

Re: 2012 CSSA Paper whose gonna do it? lol MX1 exam is now shorter than it was though, so it will either be easier than it usually is if they decide to keep the difficulty. Or they may decide to have 'less questions=harder questions' Either way aiming for 70/70 and 100/100 for Math

Questions Solution the trial gave. Now, while I was doing the past paper, the question (b)(iv) I could not solve it. So I looked over the solutions after time finished, and saw the solution... According to the math past posts in the HSC Marathon: So the trial solution is wrong in that...

I was able to do the first 20, then I had about 3 min left at q21, guessed 21-25, and I couldnt have time to attempt the last 5 :/ I really wanted a HD this year :/ But I guess this was a harder paper, so a HD MAY still be possible (probably not)

Do you think my answer to the Marathon question you posted is wrong? I thought I could take the number of ways the 10 could sit in 20 seats then times by how many ways they can arrange themselves in the seats

Re: HSC 2012 Marathon :) Assuming that the 10 people can sit anywhere of the 20 seats, is it: ^{20}\textrm{C}_{10} \cdot 10! Probably wrong, perms and combinations are not my finest topics.
