    McCafe

I'd be too paranoid that they'd spit in my coffee or something to that effect... that, and I don't know how much better it would be or if I'm just being overly picky. That being said, considering McCafe coffee prices are comparable (if not more expensive) than dedicated coffee carts/shops/etc, I...

    the dream car thread

LOL at the paradox of dream cars :( I thought I'd settle for an E92 335i Coupe (most of the thrills, a lot less bills) but damn the M3 is nice. Always feels like it's ready for a bit of fun.

    What Cars does everyone drive??

Hmm... considering it's a ten year old base model Bimmer, are you sure you really want to go down that route? On the plus side, if it's a 318i or 320i, it was probably owned by very safe parents who didn't drive hard at all... not sure how common the manuals would be. As for the 320Ci, a...

    Accounting Cadetships 2010

    1. Nope, it's like a careers convention which you probably have been to at uni's e.g. Macquarie whereby each firm/organisation has a little booth, has representatives from HR and the business, give out freebies, and mingle/talk you through things. Great chance for you to talk to people from each...

    Atar estimate please! (:

To OP, you aren't expecting any remote kind of accuracy here right?

    chicks lovin cars & bikes

LOL it looks like you've spotted the issue then :) But in all seriousness, some car chicks are great and to be honest, there's no reason why cars should be a male-dominated thing. As long as you keep things in perspective that it's all about the cars, then it's great. It's when you try to mix...

Attend some street meets or night shifts and you'll see.

    chicks lovin cars & bikes

HahA I can think of some pretty nasty examples I've met at various places... *shudders* I guess there are a few exceptions. Few and rare!

    chicks lovin cars & bikes

From what I can tell there's only two categories of girls who like cars- those who grew up on it because of their father/brothers/etc or those who are just into it on their own accord. The first category tend to be into the nitty gritty and are really good to chat with :)

    McCafe

Allowance of 75c? On the plus side you'd get incidental in-house meals/etc I'd imagine? Depends on the person but in all honesty, I usually get a mocha because the straight coffee at the particular place is not nice or inconsistent in quality.

    the dream car thread

... that being said, is it really protectionism if all cars are subject to luxury car tax thresholds? ... not that Australian car companies manufacture many cars which have a decent amount of LCT anyway. Protectionism is far more prevalent in Malaysia's car industry unfortunately... but...

LOL... I got served a decent Mocha on Saturday night at TLM. Surprised me!

    the dream car thread

True. Lower demand due to an onslaught of new cars coming out (e.g. GTI mk6, various other hot hatches) and other AUDM used cars being seriously bargained down have led to used imports having significantly less demand. I have a mate who's selling a stock mint 05 ej20i STI for $36k which goes...

Do you post regularly on car forums?

LOL... I run 20psi stock :) ps. Thought I'd take a photo of my dual-touch screen interior: Fully sick yeH? :) Props to my gf for taking the photo. Video of me driving slowly > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-5c6HlbeIg

Agreed- I'm not a fan of the strict compliance costs and import restrictions but then I can also see why they are the way they are. It just shux when we look at other countries (e.g. USA) and see kids driving R35's because of the considerable price difference (around $80k usd which translates to...

    the dream car thread

Not counting Z tunes, I've found R34 GTR's (and even VSpecs) have come down in price massively in just the past two years. I remember in 2007/08 they were commanding at least $60k for a GTR and $75k for a decent condition V-spec... whereas now they can be had significantly under $50k.

    Accounting Cadetships 2010

I'd go. You get a chance to meet people from each of the firms and see how they interact with people, ask them questions in real life, maybe even get the recruiters/interviewers familiar with your face (and bonus points for your application?), etc... And even if not the above, you get freebies...

    Veering off into accounting

Im inclined to think if your backup plan is accounting rather than something a bit more related.. you don't really give a toss for med. Also keep in mind that for the most part, there are many other degrees which have a positive return in much shorter time periods (i.e. quicker to graduate...
