Do you post regularly on car forums?

    1. Do you attend JDMST meets? I was at the last EoMM. 2. There's HEAPS of Bimmer forums around but I suppose none which are specific to Aussie/Sydney AFAIK except for a few specific models. Which one you looking for?

You can buy your own pearls as well you know to put into home made milk tea (even the instant add hot water milk teas).

    Traineeship/Cadetships

Marks aren't that important in the scheme of things- just a part of the package. You need to convince the employer that you'll be able to get into a CA accepted course (e.g. UNSW B Commerce) and that's all they really care for. It's the other stuff and your personal drive/etc are also important...

Hmm I'll confirm/deny that in 7 more seasons time.

Best $200 spent for *thinks*... 10 x 3 x 2 = 60 DVD's (since each disc is "double sided" and requires me to get up and flip it over)... very many hours of entertainment. Currently going through another round of watching the whole thing!

Girls why dont you want to be housewives

On another note... when viewing this thread, the following advertisement appeared on BoredofStudies courtesy of Google. It made me LOL.

    your favourite things

Since the topic specifies "things" (and not significant others/gifts from significant other- yes I know you are BoS-stalking me now that my FB profile isn't so exciting); - my cars (not just maximum tune cards... but they took forever to level up) - my laptop + internet + gtalk - my phones +...

    Accounting Cadetships 2010

I believe applications for 2011 intakes are open from mid May until the end of June 2010. ... although this thread was started very early which meant at the time, first year uni students could also be applying.

    Hookers.

They probably earn more than most of the people on BoS... by quite a considerable margin.

    traineeship vs full-time uni

Hmm once I factor in O/T, I think I was only around $10 an hour or so after tax? But hey, experience + taxis/meals/etc made it okay. This then jumped quite a bit in later years :)

Green tea drinks are good too. I'm over the taro milk tea phase :) Yaletos are a bit of a jip too.

    traineeship vs full-time uni

Agreed ten years is long. The cadetship/traineeship path is good if you are interested or see value in the employer but without that, a lot of the incentive is gone. If you wanted bigger bucks and a near full time job (or an actual full time job) whilst studying, the money is in data entry...

What do you do to prepare for upcoming exams?

I read the book. Writing notes doesn't actually help if I'm using a summarised form of something... but I'm good at absorbing stuff just by reading so I do that now.

How much money do you spent on clothes every month?

I'd say... on average, I'd spend $1500-2000 a year including suit, couple of shirts, cufflinks, ties, etc (no shoes though).

    Thornleigh McDonalds

Haha... I was there studying from 9pm till midnight just then. Despite the noise, I find it really good to study there... definitely the cleanest Maccas I can think of.

    Traineeship/Cadetships

That used to be the case but you'll find there are actually quite a lot of employers nowadays who also open their cadetship/traineeship programs to people who have just started first year uni (typically to fill the gap created by those who accepted offers but ended up deciding not to join in the...
