    CS Source

PC isn't that hardcore lol! But yeh I'm gonna go JB Hifi- from memory they have a lot of PC games too so hopefully can find some slightly old games. if not, Supreme Commander 2 looks ok.

    CS Source

Trying to find a place to buy it from. I'm old school- prefer a CD in a box kinda thing. That, and I'm on a tight 12gb download limit per month. Also trying to find the Gold edition of Supreme Commander...

    CS Source

Since I have my new PC I want to relive my younger days and buy CS Source and a variety of games in that genre (I loved Tac Ops too). Anyone know where to buy this now that I have a PC which can run the latest (well not that new) version of CS! I've looked everywhere (GAME, EB, etc) but can't...

    Can anyone confirm this?

If you are HSC 2010... doesn't that mean you don't have one yet? Anyway enjoy driving your parents old Benz. I'd take it if someone offered me one :)

    Can anyone confirm this?

Not meaning to stalk this thread but I just realised it's the same person who posted this question in both threads. >__>

    Can anyone confirm this?

I think that's more uni pride than anything else :) Let's not forget that really, it's whether or not you get the job which pays you the amount you want for doing the work you desire which makes the difference!

    Can anyone confirm this?

That remark just shows how childish you are. No-one really gives a toss about one's ATAR/UAI in the real world. It's merely a single-use coupon to get you into uni and even then, it doesn't make much difference once you're past first year since anyone can transfer between courses (and unis) as...

    New Car Advice

I thought it was pretty good when I was on my L's relative to my 1.3L Daihatsu Terios :) But in all seriousness, depends which model of Corolla. There were some 100kW models available (both AUDM and JDM) in the 1.8 guise- I'm not an expert on the model numbers or anything but I'd imagine...

    Can anyone confirm this?

er... you get your P's FIRST, then you apply for exemption. i'm pretty sure u can apply on same day (unless u are at like 5pm or something). i thought it was pretty obvious but guess it isn't :)

    Can anyone confirm this?

Isn't this in that other thread? Basically you need to pay the $26 and get the exemption letter (and then stash it in your glove box). It'll be easy to get because it's a car which is technically prohibited but considered to be low powered turbo. You can call up the RTA to confirm this if you want.

    M4 Toll-Free from Feb 15 onwards

I'm finding the new M4 tollfree to be pretty fast (compared to alternative of using Victoria Rd) from James Ruse Dr. That being said I tend to only drive back to city at night (after 9pm) so it's not crowded. Only annoyance are the hoons who want to race on Parra Rd.

    Discussion: Mac vs. PC

I was a huge Windows advocate and still continue to use Windows based PCs everywhere (home, office, car)... but if given the choice, I prefer using my iMac and Macbook. Maybe it's just the software I use or whatever, but I personally find my Macs to be a lot more stable and less prone to...

    New Car Advice

I think the Cruze is a huge step in the right direction for the Holden cars sourced from Korea. They have made it look a lot more funky both interior and exterior. Haven't driven one or looked at it in detail but it got good reviews from a non-driving perspective. That being said, if it's the...

    Discussion: Mac vs. PC

Ditto. Yes Mac is much more restrictive, but having things work and make sense is amazing. Sure it's not as customisable as Windows (whether it be XP or Win7), but the stability and general user interface simplicity is far superior. It's not perfect but I'd rather turn on my Mac than my Win7...

    Discussion: Mac vs. PC

Er............ Macs have been using (and supporting) multiple button mice for a long time now. The past few Apple mice have all had multiple buttons (but typically these aren't visible or traced/shaped specifically). You do realise that right? Only exception to this is the Macbooks which...

    Most ANNOYING things when Driving

LOL maybe they're trying to park? I got honked the other day because someone kept tailgating me even though I was driving slower (on Anzac Pde near the restaurants/food area) and finally when I put on my left signal and came to a stop, they had tailed me all the way and hence was blocking me...

    Most ANNOYING things when Driving

^ And when you press your horn they just stop and look at you. Sigh. ROFL. I'm more annoyed (through no fault of the other drivers i suppose) when people use the one pump at my local servo which has 98 (along with 91 and 95) when all the other pumps are free. Then they give me a o__O when...

Thought I would bump this in case anyone saw AUSCA (Australian Uni Students Car Association) at UNSW Oweek :)
