    Test drive/ride experiences

Interesting read on your take of the Mazda2. I had to test drive one of these (in automatic guise) for my friend's girlfriend and found the car to be a fun little thing to drive. The price was good at under $21k driveaway (back when it was relatively newly launched) for 5 door base model, auto...

Proton S16 for $11,990 driveaway- Good or bad for the market?

Did Excels get hit badly by depreciation in their first few years relative to other new cars in that segment? I remember some significant issues which needed recalls to rectify back in the day...

Proton S16 for $11,990 driveaway- Good or bad for the market?

Rather than the usual rate this car kind of thread, we all know it's going to be a crapbox. Yes my family has one of these milo tins on wheels with a small engine, but what we're asking here is Good or bad for the market? On one hand, it offers a brand new car (with supposedly new car warranty...

Hmm X6 is a great car but I was kinda hoping for something more... well.. epic. You know, driving across Australia in supercars.. or fuel efficient cars.. or something. I dunno *shrugs*

I hope they review the new Proton S16 :) Finally some Malaysian cars which the Brits love to ridicule coming to Australia. That being said I think the Proton S16 (or "Saga") isn't too bad. Considering it's price point, it's a decent little milo can.

Do you post regularly on car forums?

haha yeh it's really satisfying to see how cars evolve from stock when they bought it into the machines at the end. it's also a cheap and easy way to find out which parts actually work in your ride without being the first to experiment :)

a nice perfume to get a girl?

That's alright. I bought that one before. It's more of a "take a *chance* on me" kinda perfume though.

Do you post regularly on car forums?

Just curious because obviously BoS isn't exactly the most car-oriented forum! I'm a regular on AUSCA (www.ausca.org - the Australian Universities Student Car Association) and Edge-Racing.net. (note: this sucks, you can only post a poll within 2 minutes... coincidentally it took me a bit longer...

Has anyone started watching this? Despite all the negative attention, I think it's still not too bad. I mean, it provides a hella lot more interesting watching than Fifth Gear which I also happened to watch tonight on 7two. The only thing I'd like is for them to focus more on the cars. Would be...

    Animorphs or Goosebumps?

I was more of a Goosebumps fan and bought so many of them from Kmart! But Animorphs was also good.. I would swap with friends in class and read them during "reading time". I also like those 2 minute mystery books with solutions and Encyclopaedia Brown seris!
