Yeh VTi-L had steering wheel controls.. without it, I wouldn't have bought the VTi-L. I use them a lot surprisingly.

Honda is useless- tried calling them and no help whatsoever. 1. Yes I have installed an amp- there is "no socket", you have to run a power cable and use lineouts (2 sets) for front & rear to hook up to an amp... if you only want to add a sub, you can just use one set of lineouts piggybacking...

If that's the case, call them and politely ask; then explain your reasons for asking/pushing it (ie. what you said above). It's fair enough and if they find it unreasonable/pushy, then it's questionable how understanding they will be when you have uni commitments!
