    Is IPT your easiest subject?

LOL good luck. IPT may be easy/bludgy, but I think that the problem with the subject is that teachers marks are so subjective and there is no real standardised marking system which will give you any decent indication of how well you will perform in the real HSC.

Who came first in their ipt class :D

Dw too much, it'll sort itself out.. besides, it's the rank which counts. Although what bewilders me is how you can get 100% in one assignment, but slack off so much so that you only get a 0% in another.

Some Questions On IPT -- Need Help - Urgent

I'd bet on A. Whilst C and D 'could' be correct, I think A is the most definite. Data security because the data has to be securely stored (ie. against unauthorised access), ethics because the librarian has to use moral judgement to know when they should and shouldn't look at the data, and...

    Deloittes Development Program

My bad then. But you definitely did come off like one of those people who comes to the forums and asks something which they really should've researched themselves. Enjoy the program and be sure to post back what happens :) I had a short stint at Deloitte once... :) as someone else mentioned...

driving with more than one person in the car while on ur L's

OMG I know what you mean... Dad says keep eyes on road, Mum says you missed the turn which goes to a place which you weren't going... it's a painful experience but one which'll train you to ignore certain distractions!!!

driving with more than one person in the car while on ur L's

Yeh it isn't illegal but remember- when you're starting out, it's probably best to minimise the number of potential distractions/interruptions, and also should your friends be tall, help to give you the best potential view... of course later on it'll be good to practice with a bit of disruption...

    Ernst & Young

I think as long as you understand the basics (ie. Debits and Credits) and how everything links together... from an audit perspective at least, you should be fine. Whatever else you need is filled in with on the job training :)

    I'm curious: "past experience"

I was lucky that I still managed to get a job without any substantial work exp.... but what I lacked in real work experience, I made up for with alot of volunteer and extra curricular work. Basically I think you need to figure out "why" they want the work experience component, and then prove to...

    Help a n00b downgrade PSP 2.5 to 1.5...

Thanks :) None of my mates have GTA:LCS though. It's $65 or so if I buy the US version off eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=003&item=130021595950&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)... Seems a bit of a ripoff considering the original only costs like $70 or $80...

    Help a n00b downgrade PSP 2.5 to 1.5...

Anyone here know much about the topic? I've tried researching it but all I can find is that even the n00b-proof one, requires GTA:LCS and 1.5 firmware. The 1.5 firmware shouldn't be too hard to find, but GTA:LCS... I heard the Australian/PAL versions (see Wikipedia) have been "fixed" to stop...

    HELP: Amp cutting out!

Just on a sidenote... my issue with my amp cutting out turned out to be a faulty line out converter... so much for Alpine being a never-fail brand!

    Deloittes Development Program

Nah, I meant the topic creator who doesn't know what it's about, nor does he/she seem to even want to find out more (about the profession & industry itself without it being spoon-fed). Judging by the fact they didn't even know what the program involves and were too damn lazy to look at the...

    Deloittes Development Program

No offence but you sound like you don't give a crap about this program nor have any real interest in the industry. I pity whoever out there actually tried (seriously) to get in but got rejected.

    Accounting and Creativity - oxymorons?

Remember accounting is a very generalised term which is like an umbrella covering a lot of other professions/specialised work like advisory, auditing, etc... Different parts of accounting have different things which are suitable.

    Accounting Firm Interview Questions

My thought is that it's not a quiz... it should be up to the interviewee to also show that they're interested in the profession. On another note, the stuff you learn in uni is pointless.

    Cadetships!

I didn't know CPAs got into Big4... My question is- for people who are 2nd years/3rd years who want a cadetship; why not just apply for vaccy work?
