Blah.. yes let's blame the ****ing referee. At first I thought he was alright- one of the first refs to not be biased against Australia.... but in the end, he's the one who sent us packing :(

Yep I'm bloody proud of the Socceroos effort. I hope people don't all blame Neill... I can only imagine how he must be feeling inside. Poor guy- and he didn't even do anything wrong IMO.

I personally wouldn't call up just to see if you got rejected... but it's your choice.

Significance of good grades in gaining employment?

ROFLMAO So I'm smart and elite eh?... Watch me snob u :P Btw, I'm surprised you didn't pick up on the key personality aspect of KPMG. There's something about them which all the cadets at UNSW can pick up on and help us recognise them miles away!

    Removing Notes

I think it might be good if there was better contributor-self-management of uploads, modifications, removals and maybe a public profile linking together all of each contributor's contributions?

    getting head unit separately

There's something odd about hearing a chick describe a HU as "cute". Your sound system must sound pretty good though.

DART test, How was it for u?

Don't be terrified... as long as you've done real hours- you shuld be fine! I found it pretty easy; but then I made a mistake and thought I'd fail but... I didn't *shrugs* It was pretty obvious- I didn't see a car coming into a round about and I entered; but then I stopped before I had gone...

    Cadetships!

LOL....... I can see why you think lowly of us turtleface but every firm and every industry has people like that. Except maybe garbologists. And aileen, don't feel bad okay? Even if you don't get a cadetship, if you really had a firm interest in accounting, you'd still go on to study it at...

    Cadetships!

Yep that's her. That's interesting... for us, they came around with a digicam and took photos of us and then asked us to write our names on the back of our photo. As for portfolio- I personally carried my portfolio everywhere in case it came in handy; along with additional copies of my...

    Cadetships!

LOL I know how you feel- i never played sports nor was I a prefect. Btw ishq... I didn't realise BAcc was done so early. I thought apps were due heaps later for that. I remember on the BAcc website last year it told us not to apply if we already have signed a cadetship.

Significance of good grades in gaining employment?

I agree with Frigid- the degree lets you qualify for the job (as long as you pass); but once you're in the interview... there's a lot more to it than just academics. Extra curricular, work experience, sporting achievements, community involvement, etc... these all show your ability to manage work...

    EY vs KPMG

They asked us this as a joke at the information session. Isn't it something like Klein Pete Marwick Gawdler? I can't spell but I've heard my KPMG friend say the names over and over again...

    EY vs KPMG

Funnily enough EY cadets get paid more than all the other cadets. Funny enough (again) I heard EY are the ones who are crazy workers. Since when? *cough* Tax Shelters *cough* Personal chef? ooooh now that's something which is nice. Is anyone allowed to order from them? Sounds quite...
