    accounintg firms- cadetships

I just realised this post. But some accounting cadetship salaries are "$27k package" inclusive of everything (super, text books, union, etc...) but others are "$27k + benefits" (ie. the super is included in the 27k because that is technically income- fair game imo, and the additional extras are...

Window Tinting- any good places in Sydney, Hills preferably.

Haha I'm inclined to think they'd charge some ridiculous price and probably end up doing the same quality job they would've done regardless. But anyway, if anyone knows any decent tinting places (and have had experience) please recommend. So far I've found Euro Tint- some store which used to...

    holden commodore vr [SMKSHW]

Whether it's bluff or not is one thing; but I think it's even lamer that he's bragging about his mate's car and how he's gonna be "riding in it" to Schoolies.

    Ernst & Young

Haha chillax. Btw are you talking EY or PwC? 3rd July seems pretty late for interviews for Big4 I think- maybe the times are different this year round. I remember last year... all the EY people had their interviews (and received job offers) way before the rest of the firms had even started...

    maths help

Uhh... No need to use caps so much :P I'm only a first year but I'm just wondering why you'd need taxable income, total earnings, and taxable gross?... don't you need just one of them to calculate the tax payable?

What would you like to see on BOS 2006?

Not sure if this has been suggested yet but this is what I wrote in an email to BoS~ In regards to contributions... would it be possible for there to be some kind of profile system whereby instead of in the “Source” a link to an email address; how about a link to a profile which can list all...

Window Tinting- any good places in Sydney, Hills preferably.

Haha I've heard there are some really pro places... I was surfing the net and found a Singaporean forum- the people who do tinting in Singapore at this shop were so pro, they even removed the door panels and the rear shelf + tail light (as in, the one inside the car) so they wouldn't need to cut...

Ahaha if there had to be a pink car, somehow I guessed it would be a Beetle.

    accounintg firms- cadetships

I got to second round interviews and withdrew my application before the one-on-one. They were really awesome about everything- especially when I kept having to change the date of my interview so that I could fit in my other interviews; and I felt kindof bad in the end that I withdrew! As for...

Good stepping stone for finance students

The wise opinion on what is and isn't mundane from the Computing Consultant - School of Mathematics Computing Labs RC G012 LOL. But I agree, the Accounting subject is rather mundane.

    Cadetships!

Congrats on scoring interviews. I'm trying to figure out why you put the names of the firm with CA at the end? Are they CA-exclusive firms? As for E&Y... don't worry; I know the feeling of "All the EY people already have their offers" before alot of firms even commence interviews!

Window Tinting- any good places in Sydney, Hills preferably.

Just wondering if you guys know any good places to get my car tinted. Whilst price is a major factor, I'd pay a bit more for a reputable install which won't leave it all bubbly/disgusting in a few years time. Preferably in the Hills district, but am willing to travel to maybe Chatswood or...

    holden commodore vr [SMKSHW]

So the guy who owns the car- only bought it recently off another guy, and that guy, had owned it for 4 years and just lost his license? And the mate of yours who just bought it- the mechanic- is he the one who's doin the upgrades or was it already done up? It sounds like it was already done up...

    accounintg firms- cadetships

Ahahaha... So long ago when I last experienced such pain. Congrats on getting an interview :) May I ask which firm it's at? Group interviews range from doing simple things like having a group discussion... to really random teamwork exercises like building a tower of straws (BDO) and giving...

    QMA aye.

I got it I think... The thing which probably screwed most people over is 4 variables. The trick is that the Adelaide and Melbourne plant required "exact" numbers (well that's how I interpretted that question) and from there, you can rearrange and subtitute where you would've had a second set...

Good stepping stone for finance students

I can see why you call it a contradiction but I'm guessing (and this is how I interpretted it initially) that basically, he knew that in the future he'd be on a decent wage within a certain range (because that's how I perceive accounting) whereby as long as you do a half-decent job, you know...

    QMA aye.

I thought they do? If not... that's crap. I mean what's the point of having a written paper for maths if they only care about the final answer! Might as well have given us more MCs. Easier for them to mark too.

    QMA aye.

Aren't we like.. the worst QMA grade in the past X amount of years based on midsession averages? LOL... maybe we will get scaled. At least my QM*** exam is over for now. Hopefully I passed. I answered more than half the questions with my brain thinking "I got most of that correct" so it...
