    auto or manual

In some countries (eg. Malaysia) it's compulsory to sit your test in a manual car. Doubt that would ever take off here though. The funny thing in what you said is there's actually an element of truth. I guess I'd like to learn to drive manual one day, not just for the 'fantasy' aspect, but I...

    Big 4 vs MacBank?

haha I'm not much help since I dont' start until July; but from what I have seen/heard, many people use Big4 as a stepping stone to get into IB roles (not necessarily the 'accounting' division). Personally if it was for accounting, I'd pick Big4 (or even mid-tier) over MB because of the...

    Thoughts on recruitment

IB is where a lot of the money is, but some people are just more suited to audit. I don't get why everyone compares Big4 to IB... they are such different jobs. Working in Big4 just gives you something nice to put on your CV. But back on topic though, I think, regardless of industry, a lot...

    What Cars does everyone drive??

Not meaning to knock Commodore drivers but from what I've seen (and what I think)- not that many kids drive them unless it's their parents. Could be wrong; but just my guess.

penalties: no P display + no license on hand

Really? I thought you're not supposed to do that... but I think my sister did that at one stage (many years ago) because she wasn't too familiar with the area and didn't want people to honk at her for not going as fast as the rest of 'em. Heard those damage the car paint if you leave them on...

    Speed Limiters at 120??!

Don't think it's impossible to change attitudes Ciel... for the most of us here, we're pretty much dead set on using seat belts- well at least in my experience, the friends who I travel with do... but then if you compare it to countries like America where people don't all wear seatbelts despite...

I also heard the 7m thing... But not exactly sure how it works but I'm thinking that when reverse parking, you're allowed to go as far back as 7m without failing? *shrugs*

    New 3 series Coupe

This is a 3 coupe... if it was boxy, it would just not be right IMO. And now that I think about it.. i definitely prefer the 3 coupe's front to the 5 series front. The 5 series front looks way too much like the 7 series rather than the previous generation 5.

    New 3 series Coupe

Well.. people who buy M3 buy it for reasons other than just engine performance; they also buy it for the brand ahah...

    New 3 series Coupe

Hmm was the cube thing available on the normal e46 sedan as well? As for the e90 sedan, which one is the standard trim? I'm not a fan of that brushed aluminium look- sure it's modern, but the car feels 'cold' when you sit in it compared to the nice colour schemes of light beige leather with...

    Sitting DART

I went to Castle Hill and passed first time there. It's not too hard provided you know the place pretty well (eg. the 25 zone, the stop signs, lots of roundabouts, etc...) and patience is very much needed when coming off onto Showground Road. My sister did hers at Hornsby and also passed...

    New 3 series Coupe

Hmm... comparing black e46 330Ci which looks damn sexy... to this. I'm leaning towards this one actually. It doesn't have the elegance of the e46 but it's just so.. 'striking' that it's quite attractive. I wonder if it'll be easy to get into the back because I remember in the 330 it was quite...

What kindof speakers should I get?

I just found out from someone who ordered the Bass Works (dealer upgrade) for the sound system; (URL: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?p=693747#post693747) I guess at least this means I can get 6.5"!... I'm pretty sure I'll get components in the front, and ordinary 6.5" in the...

    New 3 series Coupe

Arrangement is nice, but whilst better thant he sedan, there's something about the light cluster on both 3 sedan/coupe which just doesn't seem as nice as the ones on the e46 (or the other BMWs actually). It looks cheap compared to the rest of the car- I call it the "Are they Korean?" look...

    New 3 series Coupe

For those who want to see; the article is at: http://www.drive.com.au/editorial/article.aspx?id=11410&vf=2&bg=32&pp=0 Here's what it says; I don't know about you guys but I think the front and side profiles are damn sexy... I really like the agressive look on the front. It reminds me a bit of...

What kindof speakers should I get?

This is what the back of my car looks like inside the boot... I was wondering if you think I can fit 6x9s in there or if I'll be forced to use 6"? Also wondering where I would put the external crossover unit/low pass thingy if I got it. Btw do you have any idea what that black box is? I'm...

    New 3 series Coupe

Yeh it looks heaps better than the sedan. Although I'm starting to appreciate the look of the 3 series sedan more. If people want pics, according to the paper, the linkn is at http://www.drive.com.au/3coupe2006 .
