    I finally drove a V8...

For some reason... as cool as those cars are, I don't really feel myself liking either of them.

    quick question regarding p's test

Good luck :) I had mine at 10:15 too. If it helps, try to take them a little bit wider if it'll help you stay away from touching the round about. In my daily driving, sometimes I hit the round about (ie. little bit of a bump on the surburban flat ones) because I'm too lazy to turn my wheel a...

    I finally drove a V8...

Does the handling improvement really make that much difference when the car is being driven around in areas where there are bumps/speed humps/etc..? (ie. Surburban and <80km/h area)

    scraping the bumper

just wondering how can you tell if you've scraped under the front bumper considerably? I might've hit that thing in the ground in parking lots before and was wondering if it's easy to see if damaged or not- car is black so... kinda hard to see things isn't it?

    BMW new 3series

I heard the new coupes aren't gonna look that nice as the outgoing model- but maybe time will show that BMW (and Chris Bangle and co) can still manage to revamp the industry with bold and contraversial designs that end up influencing other car makers to follow suit.

    I finally drove a V8...

Unless you plan on racing, I fail to see the practicality (if any) of lowering your car... with all these bloody bumps, edges, ramps, etc... it must be a real pain in the ass to drive.

    I finally drove a V8...

lol... i remember my Mum's Saab 900i (from many many years ago) was really low and a lot of places caused problems- and that was a stock car! Luckily for me, my Civic is a normal car and I didn't get body kit.. i've already had quite a few... bumps from going a bit too fast over humps.

    Econ1101

In response to the Q at hand; A) With cheaper imports, the cost of production is reduced both through the reduction in cost of the inputs, and through the lower cost of capital equipment (ie. things which increase efficiency). As a result, the competitiveness is greatly increased as the firms...

Australian Economics & Business Studies Competitions Recruitment!

It got moved to that nice room near the Dean :) Never been up there before. Out of interest, who gets to go to the other states (ie. the presentation ceremonies)? *fingers crossed* :) Btw were you there Casmira? I saw your name on the email, but wasn't sure if you were at the meet.

    Parramatta: Test

I think he meant specific to Parramatta. Sorry mate, haven't been there much either but good luck. Remember in construction areas (I think the Westfield area is still under construction?) the speed limit is 40; and don't speed up until you're sure you are past the construction site (there...

    What Cars does everyone drive??

My initial concern would be if it was raining and I had to pick people up to get in the back... it would be a pain in the ass to get the seat moving, and that's assuming they could figure out how to use the latch (it's not as straightforward as one would assume!).

    What Cars does everyone drive??

Haha.. 4 doors looks crap on a lot of cars, and 2 door models almost always look better. But then, in hindsight, I appreciate my lack of coolness (ie. 4 door) with the convenience it has afforded me. Btw in your experience with 2 door cars, how do you find the mechanism to move the seat...

    What Cars does everyone drive??

Nup. Australia got only one body style (or whatever you call it)- the 4 door. Despite wanting a 2 door car before, after giving lifts to quite a few people, and also when carrying stuff, I'm beginning to appreciate the 4 doors. Sure it's not as nice looking as a 2 door, but it sure as hell is...

    What Cars does everyone drive??

I think driving a dirty car has it's advantages- makes ppl less likely to scratch your car.

    New Honda Civic

First service this Saturday.. grr Just found out from my father that Honda isn't cheap to service >< Is the Sportivo really that good that it can compete with a Type S? Wow... I didn't realise Corolla Sportivo was that good. But me being shallow, the Type S has a much better look/image :P
