    Fairfield P's Test

I think this point needs to emphasized if you are doing the test during peak hour. At times, there are people recklessly crossing the roads so you need to be very patient.

    External Transfer

Well I reckon to be sure, a credit average (around 65). You could probably get it with a pass average as well, but it isn't guaranteed.

    External Transfer

Well it depends when you want to transfer. If you attempt to do so after 1 semester, your ATAR would be considered because your university marks wouldn't be released in time. However, if you do so after 1 year (2 semesters), your university marks would be considered. They usually take...

    Transfer

Yes that is enough information for them to determine whether you are eligible for transfer to your desired course. You don't usually have to supply additional information.

Study B Business full time, work part time OR Work full time, study part time?

I like your thinking in regards to working in an office environment instead of retail. Any experience you get from here can be used for the future. For me, working part time and studying full time is a good balance. The other way around is stressful and I don't feel I can get the best of both...

    Is UWS good for Economics/Law?

Yes I'd say its entry schemes are less stringent compared to other universities in NSW. I believe it offers up to 10 bonus points for specific courses.

    Is UWS good for Economics/Law?

Having studied there for a time, I'd say it's a decent uni. In terms of reputation, some say it doesn't matter but personally, I think it does to an extent. Good marks and extra-curricular activities would always be the top of my list in terms of getting employment.

Would a double major in financial economics and finance a good idea?

Re: Sydney economics vs macquarie applied finance?? (im interested in finance) I agree. Finance is a very broad field and without any specifics, it would be extremely difficult to provide an answer.

What's the difference between B business (UTS) and B commerce (UNSW) ?

Yes contents/majors/electives would be very similar if not similar. Job prospects wouldn't differ much from uni to uni. Try having a look at the MyUniversity website. You can compare unis based on the no. of graduates in full time employment etc.

What's the difference between B business (UTS) and B commerce (UNSW) ?

No significant differences whatsoever. Some unis call their degree "business", some unis "commerce" and others "business and commerce."

    Transferring into UNSW Commerce

Your WAM is your weighted average mark at university. This is a total of your marks divided by all the subjects you have done. There are various ways to transfer into UNSW Commerce. As you said, you can do a business/commerce course at UWS, MQ, UTS and externally transfer. You would need to...

Out of these two degrees which one would you recommend?

I think in order to best answer your question, we would have to know your interests in Commerce. Is it Accounting/Finance or something else? If it is, I'd probably opt for App Fin/Prof Accg at Macquarie and then externally transfer over to UNSW. You can go for Info Systems at UNSW but in the...

    Construction mgmt uws to uts/unsw

Hi there If you can maintain your current GPA, your chances of transferring at the end of first year are extremely good. You would need to complete a full year of study at UWS in order for your GPA to be considered. Mid-year transfers would only consider your ATAR.

Commerce or economics? USYD or UNSW? - Need help with preferences

Well the Commerce/Economics double at UNSW is four years. So it's only an extra year compared to the standard Commerce degree.
