Hey guys, i'm curious about whether or not I got the job.
I had a one-on-one interview last Thursday, went well as far as I can tell, the interviewer was very pleased about my ability to work Friday and Saturday nights. She said i'd know if I got it or not by Monday. It's now Tuesday, and no...
Want to apply to Woolworths, i'm dead sick of McDonalds, but their careers website (WOW Jobs) is terrible, most of the 'store operations' jobs listed on there, when you click on them, it says that the job has been deleted or is no longer open to application. I found one job vacancy in the whole...
I got 80.25 :/
I suppose it's not too bad, given that most of my cohort did bugger all study for the final exams and that would have affected the students who actually did put in a lot of effort...thanks a lot guys -.-
Hoping to do a Bachelor of Business Administration at Macquarie, bonus...
I've pretty much narrowed down my search to retail or supermarket jobs, don't particularly want to work nights. But how do I tell McDonald's I want a reference? Do I just ask them? Because I don't want to quit until i've gotten another job.
I'm pretty proud of going to my school, it's very well regarded in my area, despite the stereotypes of Ja'mie types and spoiled rich kids (which, to some extent, are true...) most people think pretty highly of it, it's apparantly regarded as one of the top private schools in Western Sydney.
Yeah, there was one student at our school (lost his house in the fire and had to stay with relatives who lived on the Central Coast or something like that) who couldn't attend exams. I think the BoS will treat you guys at St Columbas (and Springwood High) the same because you did actually sit...
May I ask what school? My school (St Paul's Grammar) isn't even in the Blue Mountains (although a lot of the students come from there) and they've been heavily pushing students to apply for misadventure too, even those who don't live in the Blue Mountains (due to friends living there I guess).
I applied for Misadventure in three exams due to the fact I live in Springwood and I was evacuated due to bushfires during the HSC, as well as the constant sirens/helicopters overhead distracting me at home. The supervisor wrote 'lost time 10 minutes' due to stress relating to the bushfires for...
My friend did this but in Year 12, it was the best decision he ever made. He dropped out after getting back his trials (about halfway through term 3), so it gave him a bit of time to study, but also to relax a bit too. He found Year 12 work a lot easier when he did go back (in term 4), aced his...

If you can hear Japanese being spoken, chances are it's run by Japanese people. Though 9 times out of 10 the people running 'Japanese' or sushi places in Sydney are Korean or Chinese.
