    does that person still get scaled down?? If yes, by how much? My Chinese teacher said that the student who came FIRST in NSW last year got 75...and the aligned mark was 92.     Thank you very much for your suggestions everyone! I'm Chinese actually and I came to Australia four years ago. I've also passed level 1 of Japanese Level Proficiency Test when I was in year 10. Therefore I can already speak both languages fluently. No I don't mind leaving Sydney at all...
