Hey I wanted to buy Terry Lee 4U and Cambridge 4U and I was just wondering, is Dymocks a good place to buy these textbooks (not a rip-off)? I'm on the Northern Beaches and I don't really know any other bookstores...

I believe you can buy Terry Lee textbooks on his website - http://www.hsccoaching.com/documents/shop.html

But, whether or not they're cheaper than in the bookstore? I dunno - I'd hope so.

Is 3u fitzpatrick bad? No, it comes down to personal preference I think. I like Fitzpatrick's style better than Cambridge. You might find the opposite.

That is true. I like Cambridge better. Great explanations in my opinion.

Which textbooks do you guys recommend?

Hello guys I'm going to be in yr 12 within 2 weeks ( i guess already now since its holidays :L ) and I'm not sure which textbooks to buy. Do you recommend buying legal studies and biology DOT point? I am planning to get Jacaranda and use it with Dot point, excel, heinemann and biology in focus. And for legal, Cambridge, Heinemann, excel and dot point?

Sorry, they are expensive and so I really wanna make the right choice
Please make any recommendations and what textbooks are sufficient enough for those subjects. I think i have way too much there. LOL

oh, and also, for bio, i already have excel, biology in focus and heinemann and for legal, Heinemann & Excel

( I posted this on the preliminary/HSC but i think it should be here since we're in yr 12 now. Hahaha :) )

Find out what textbook your school is using - or you're gonna waste money on a textbook you already have.

Re: Which textbooks do you guys recommend?

Hey i don't do legal, but my teacher at school recommended heinemann for bio, even though the prescribed bio book in our school is bio in focus. heinemann bio is just more straight to the point, without having all these waffle useless info like bio in focus. plus they have review questions and stuff and the lay out is not as confusing as bio in focus. they also have an exam paper embedded within the cd and i think thats another bonus. another plus is that heinemann bio is so colourful, which helps for me, cause i tend to get bored easily :L
and dot point bio is great as well. i think heinemann also has a prac book.

have a look through this

In my opinion, Jacaranda HSC 3rd Edition and Cambridge Mathematics.
