just watched the episode, one of the best build's and vids they've ever done.

MCM just gets better and better every time. By far, this is the best I have seen to this date.

It's a good watch, but it's just not how MCM started. That Beetle wouldnt be road legal and cant be done DIY by most people (even Marty and Moog, note how all the newer builds are not DIY), would cost a lot of money to get something like that done. Really hoping they go back to their roots with the Mini and future cars/projects.

yep they are, did u read their blog post about moving off the driveway and into a shed, it explains a lot of stuff regarding why they've not done many smaller diy stuff recently.

This is unlikely, it's more of a marketing thing than anything else, also the car is good as it is IMHO, you can drive it to the limit and have a blast. Also since the car is a collab between toyota and subaru, toyota will have to release a turbo car if one is ever made which is unlikely.

This can be achieved with a supercharger for about $6k

Also some ecu remapping and maybe ethanol run would be beneficial.

It's not that bad, i've seen worse, lights in the grill and under the car, that's just being an attention whore.

Yeah, there are more worse mods then that which fall into the attention whore spectrum. A common once is suspension height as well as the type of rims.

Hard to find I think, but yes. Most MX5s will be a bit rough around the edges if you're looking at NAs.
