Commerce is all stats, it must be torturousNope. One of the most boring subjects I've done.
Compared to the other half of my degree, definitely.Commerce is all stats, it must be torturous
I dont even see the point of going to lectures to be honest. At the end of the day, P's get degrees.I never brought textbooks to uni at all. If anything, I brought the maths course notes, because they had the questions we had to do for tutes. I don't even have the textbook for chemistry or physics. Someone gave me the pdf of our physics textbook, but I've never looked at it. I would've liked a textbook to study off for chemistry though, since I didn't go to lectures for more than half the semester, and really regretted that at exam time. But in the end, you can always just study off the lecture notes.
Taking an entire textbook to lectures is so unnecessary. It's so much easier just to bring lecture notes, and to be honest, it's probably more effective too! Lecturers sometimes jump around to different sections of the textbook or the information could be too in depth or too brief.
But I guess it depends on the subject too ...
Ever heard of a grad program?I dont even see the point of going to lectures to be honest. At the end of the day, P's get degrees.
P's get degrees still geniusEver heard of a grad program?
amen.But degrees don't get jobs
I find it hard to believe that no subjects at UTS require textbooks (or some equivalent). Not at UTS. I spoke to all second/third years in my course and they never bought a textbook and do just fine, they all suggest you dont waste the money and buy subject summary notes at most
Maybe not all subjects but mine dont. They just have recommended texts. You dont by any means need them, or even the course summaries for that matter. On that note, lecture attendance has NEVER been marked in my course. Maybe I'm just lucky but damn my course is chilled with all that stuff.I find it hard to believe that no subjects at UTS require textbooks (or some equivalent).
So when I said 'Some subjects require textbooks' and you said 'Not at UTS', you really just meant 'Not in my subjects at UTS'. Right.Maybe not all subjects but mine dont.
And when he questions the importance of attending lectures and getting marks higher than a pass, he is really just referring to his shitty degree. Right. So when I said 'Some subjects require textbooks' and you said 'Not at UTS', you really just meant 'Not in my subjects at UTS'. Right.
fucking lmao, everyone on bos are fucking geniuses. Lecture? No need, textbook? No need, study? No need, end result? Hd

Yeah IT @ UTS doesn't need textbooks, they have reading notes and stuff which are about $20 for the subject but no real textbooks at all, the stuff is taught in lectures and tutes/labs (if your tutor is smart that is).So when I said 'Some subjects require textbooks' and you said 'Not at UTS', you really just meant 'Not in my subjects at UTS'. Right.
Haha, you must have missed the conservations where everyone said they were failing.fucking lmao, everyone on BOS are fucking geniuses. Lecture? no need, textbook? no need, study? no need, end result? HD
