To the OP: choose where you undertake your degree given the strength of the school or faculty within the institution. Speaking to people within the industry will help you to do this. You will find that ALL universities will have their particular strengths.

Like, i want to pursue medicine, and i have spoken to a number of people in the industry and ive gotten the same answer; if you want to be a doctor, go to usyd, but it doesnt matter where you go if youre a nurse.

I'm pretty sure medicine is one of the areas where your uni matters least, because of all the practical experience you have to do
