That just goes to show how important the role of the teacher is, and sometimes, the reasons why we do so poorly in our exams, is because of our teacher's lack of ability to teach. It's so unfair. Then we get blamed for doing so crap and get put down as though we are stupid or something. I hate unorganised teachers. They piss me off!

This is true but if your teacher isn't doing anything to help your studies than maybe you should get a tutor or do some work and research for yourself instead of relying on a crappy teacher

I absolutely abhor English.

The worst thing about it though is that we have to do it. You don't see people being forced to do Maths now, do you? The whole concept of English being fundamentally important to our future education is bull. The whole basis of it being called 'English' is that it's supposed to improve our knowledge of the language, i.e. expand our vocabulary and perfect our grammar. If they are going to keep the current syllabus the way it is, then they should rename the subject 'Literature' or something else more appropriate.

Learning about Shakespeare's works and reading books that discuss the meaning of life are not improving our ability to communicate effectively at all.

However, I don't want it to come across as though I hate everyone who does English, 'cause I don't. Just look at it like this; think of the subject you hate the most and then imagine that it's compulsory and counts towards your HSC. Sounds fair, huh?

I personally hated Advanced English but loved my Extension classes. There's way too much work involved in Adv. English.

english is the fuckiest subject of all. I hate english to hell, not only because it is boring but because it is useless and has fucking stupid tasks involved. English is fucking shit as and i curse it to hell. 500 stabs on ENGLISH!!!!! and its soo sad to think that the coolest teachers are the English teachers.
